Guide to booking Professional teachers and belly dancers

Here is just 1 more Reason why TEACHERS should only allow bookings and shows with Professionally trained and dressed dancers - you never know who is in the audience from a furture business perspective. Rread here, feedback from a student...  public knowledge and  perception of what we do means everything for the acceptance and future of professional dance standards in the art...

"Was die naweek by ‘n troue in Pta. .
Moet sê, my hart het ’n punt getrek.

5     At Jewels of the Nile® we teach students to become 100% CONFIDENT authentic dancing individuals, as we teach students to become 100% CONFIDENT authentic individuals in learning the art form. Once a student is successfully able to interpret and improvise to ALL/MOST types/styles of music, per level, we introduce the use of simple or complex props.  This add variety to the reportoire of the syllabus and performances we offer.  The danger of teaching students to use all sorts of Western, Mid Eastern or Far Eastern props, before they can comforatbly and successfully interpret and free style to any music - is that the dancer never achieves 100% individuality in expression of the dance.  She usually then becomes just one of many, not known by name and certainly not confident or comfortable to dance solo especially if she may not have heard the music before.  Props are sensastionalism for Western audiences, esp where a dancer does not have the "confident presence" to capture an audiences.  Props cannot always be used fully or performed, at all event venues...what does a dancer do then if she cannot use her props?
